AREX All-Stop Train: the simplest rail route
Follow Airport Railroad (AREX) signs at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 and board the All-Stop Train toward Seoul. Hongik University Station is on the route, so you do not need to transfer.
Do not board the AREX Express Train if your goal is Hongdae: the Express runs to Seoul Station without stopping at Hongik University.
